Job summary

Bergstrom Buick GMC of Appleton is seeking an Detail Technician to perform comprehensive vehicle detailing, inspect for issues, and ensure every car meets Bergstrom Automotive’s quality standards before delivery.

Responsibilities include exterior and interior cleaning, polishing, and applying protective treatments. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work 5 days a week are required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle detailing: thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of exteriors and interiors.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or issues and report findings to the service team.

• Maintain detailing equipment and the work area in a safe, organized state.
• Apply protective treatments such as sealants and leather/fabric protectants.

If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding service and growing your career, Bergstrom is the place for you!What You'll DoVehicle Detailing: Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention, and report findings to the service team.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness and presentation before they are returned to the guest or placed on the sales lot.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing equipment and ensure the work area is organized and safe.Product Application: Apply protective treatments to vehicles, such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize and manage the detailing workload effectively.Schedule: 5 day work weekMonday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pmSaturdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pmWith day off during the weekPay starting at $15.00-19.00/hour based on experience.
