Bergstrom Middleton Chevrolet is hiring a Part-time Detail Technician to clean, polish and protect vehicles in Middleton, WI. You’ll inspect vehicles for defects, report findings, and ensure every car meets Bergstrom Automotive’s cleanliness standards before delivery or sale.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and physical stamina. A valid driver’s license is required, with pay starting at $15–$19/hour plus Saturdays at +$2/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive detailing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; work independently and with a team.
• Physical stamina for bending, lifting, standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with detailing products, tools, and techniques.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle detailing: clean, polish, wax exteriors and interiors; wash and vacuum.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report findings to service team.
• Quality assurance to meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain detailing equipment and keep work area safe and organized.
• Apply protective treatments to vehicles (sealers, leather conditioners, fabric protectants).
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to manage workload.

What You'll DoVehicle Detailing: Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention, and report findings to the service team.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness and presentation before they are returned to the guest or placed on the sales lot.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing equipment and ensure the work area is organized and safe.Product Application: Apply protective treatments to vehicles, such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize and manage the detailing workload effectively.Schedule: flexible schedule; ranging from Monday - Friday 3pm - 6pm and Saturdays 9am - 3pmPay starting at $15.00-19.00/hour based on experience. Earn an extra $2.00 per hour worked every Saturday!
