Job summary

Bergstrom Automotive in Wisconsin is seeking a Detail Technician to perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and upholstery care. Inspect vehicles for damage or defects, report findings to the service team, maintain detailing equipment, apply protective treatments, and coordinate with service and sales to prioritize workloads.

Schedule: Mon–Thu 10am–7pm, Fri 9am–6pm, every other Saturday 8am–5pm; pay from $15.00 to $19.00

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of exteriors and interiors.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and report findings.
• Maintain detailing equipment and keep work area organized and safe.
• Apply paint sealants and leather/fabric protection.
• Coordinate with service and sales teams to manage workload.

What You'll DoVehicle Detailing: Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention, and report findings to the service team.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness and presentation before they are returned to the guest or placed on the sales lot.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing equipment and ensure the work area is organized and safe.Product Application: Apply protective treatments to vehicles, such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize and manage the detailing workload effectively.Schedule:Monday- Thursday 10 am - 7 pmFriday 9:00 am - 6:00 pmevery other Saturday 8:00 am - 5 pmPay starting at $15.00-19.00/hour based on experience. Earn an extra $2.00 per hour worked every Saturday and lunch is provided!
