Job summary

Bergstrom Nissan of Appleton is seeking a Detail Technician to maintain and present vehicles at Wisconsin's largest dealership. You will perform thorough cleaning, polishing, waxing, and interior detailing, while inspecting for damage and reporting findings to the service team.

Join a team recognized for guest service, with a Monday–Friday schedule, starting hourly pay from $15 to $19 depending on experience, and an extra $2 per hour on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive detailing or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles thoroughly: exterior wash, polish, wax, and interior cleaning.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and report to service team.
• Maintain detailing equipment and clean work area.
• Apply protective treatments to vehicles as needed.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to manage workload.

What You'll DoVehicle Detailing: Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention, and report findings to the service team.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness and presentation before they are returned to the guest or placed on the sales lot.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing equipment and ensure the work area is organized and safe.Product Application: Apply protective treatments to vehicles, such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize and manage the detailing workload effectively.Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pmPay starting at $15.00-19.00/hour based on experience. Earn an extra $2.00 per hour worked every Saturday! What We're Looking ForExperience: Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred.Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently, independently and with a team.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.Knowledge: Familiarity with detailing products, tools, and techniques.Guest Service Orientation: Commitment to delivering a high level of service and quality to our guests.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
