Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc in Farmington, NM, is seeking a Detail Team Member to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across all club facilities. You will perform custodial tasks, greet members, and support a culture of excellence with proactive care and attention to detail.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexibility to work any day, including holidays, and provides gym and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
• Available to work any day, including holidays.
• PC literate with basic report-writing skills.
• CPR/AED certification required within 45 days.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in janitorial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Detail, clean, and disinfect all club areas, including walkways and the parking lot.
• Perform routine walkthroughs: trash removal, locker rooms, re-racking weights.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as directed by management.
• Communicate politely and respectfully with all team members.
• Maintain an organized facility for members to use.
• Assist with large projects under supervision (e.g., painting).

Detail Team Member - Full Time

Salary Range: $12.00 To $14.00 Hourly

The Detail Team Member ensures the highest level of facility cleanliness and safety through proactive monitoring and completion of assigned custodial tasks. You are expected to execute excellent customer service through daily duties and interactions by demonstrating the following qualities:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Detail, clean, and disinfect all internal and external areas of the club, including walkways and the parking lot.

• Must be available and able to work any day of the week (including holidays).

• Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment.


• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience working in a similar position or in janitorial services preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time


• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds


• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
