Job summary

Lamarque Ford Collision Center in Kenner, LA is hiring a Detail/Porter to clean and prepare customer vehicles after repairs, maintain shop appearance, and support daily operations.

You will wash, vacuum, wax, and detail interiors and exteriors to dealership standards, move vehicles safely, and assist technicians and staff while following safety procedures. Prior detailing experience helps, but is not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Previous automotive detailing or porter experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership quality standards
• Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership and collision center
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collision shop, detail area, and customer parking areas
• Empty trash, sweep and mop floors, and keep work areas clean
• Assist technicians and office staff with vehicle movement and general shop support
• Inspect completed vehicles for cleanliness before customer delivery
• Maintain detailing equipment and supplies
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Position Summary
