Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass - Cleburne, Texas is seeking a Porter to prep customer vehicles before delivery and maintain the cleanliness of the shop and office areas.

The position supports quality repairs by detailing vehicles, performing pre-washes, and transporting vehicles to sublet locations as needed. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, and multitasking with attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan execution
• Daily housekeeping of the interior of the office (garbage, floors, dusting)
• Housekeeping of production area (waste, sweeping, disposal)
• Maintain parking lots and grounds, shovel sidewalks as needed
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Job Description:

Gerber Collision & Glass - Cleburne, Texas

1 year prior experience in collision automotive detailing/porter duties preferred

Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
