We have a position open for Detail Parts Inspector for our location in Carrollton, TX.
Dimensional inspection of engine parts. The Detail Parts Inspector is responsible for inspecting aircraft engine and component parts to ensure they meet FAA regulations, customer specifications, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company quality standards. This position performs dimensional and visual inspections throughout the repair process and ensures all documentation is accurate and complete before parts are released for service.
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 60 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
Work Location: Prime Turbines, Dallas (Carrollton), Texas
Education/Training: High School diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or related field preferred.
