Platinum Maintenance Se in New York, NY is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-office position reporting to the Senior Accountant.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or account reconciliations.
• Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering records and supporting documentation.
