Job summary

SEA Wire and Cable, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduling Associate to support our Scheduling team in managing and updating production orders.

This role contributes to the creation and maintenance of daily and weekly production schedules to ensure deadlines are met. The position involves posting schedules, receiving completed orders, troubleshooting production issues, developing templates, improving workflows, and supporting overall production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication and time management skills; proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Communicate schedule changes and production status updates across teams.
• Receive and process completed production orders.
• Create templates for value-added production processes.
• Analyze production flow to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the optimization of workflow and overall performance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
