Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions invites applications for a Full-Time Non Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician at our Wisconsin location. You will prepare non-sterile compounded medications, measure, mix, and package per prescriptions, in collaboration with pharmacists, while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

We require a High School diploma, PTCB preferred, compounding experience preferred, and ability to read SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification preferred if not a state requirement.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations
• Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the company
• Strong comprehension of USP 795 and USP 800
• Have a strong working knowledge of pharmacy software
• Prioritize and prepare formula and compounding records
• Compound medications accurately and efficiently
• File necessary paperwork
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties
• Assist with ongoing and month end inventory
• Assist in initial and continuous training of staff
• Pull outdated medications for destruction
• Restock supplies and keep pharmacy neat and orderly
• Maintain compliance with Company patient confidentiality requirements
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
