Job summary

JobRx, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in sterile compounding and general pharmaceutical services at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital and Froedtert South Clinics.

High school diploma required; Wisconsin technician license and PTCB certification within six months of hire are mandatory. Hospital experience, especially sterile compounding, is strongly preferred and knowledge of drug names, doses, and formulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of pharmacy and drug formulations.
• Must complete technician competency programs on the job.
• Must follow sterile product standards and USP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares parenteral products (IV, IVPB, TPN) per procedures and USP standards.
• Performs clean room tasks in non-hazardous and hazardous areas with staffing assignments.
• Oversees training programs for sterile products personnel and maintains competency records.
• Maintains quality assurance and control for sterile products, addressing complaints and investigations.
• Handles non-sterile duties: process medication orders, stock cabinets, answer calls, and manage storage.
