Responsibilities

• E-file documents with various courts.
• Draft litigation documents, including demand letters, complaints, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Draft and file administrative agency charges and responses, including EEOC and IDHR matters.
• Review, organize, and index discovery documents.
• Manage case files and track activity and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Calculate dates and calendar deadlines using firm case management systems.
• Conduct occasional legal research.
• Enter billing information into the firm's system with about 25 hours per week average billing.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, staff and stakeholders.
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Apply creative and analytical thinking to resolve case and administrative challenges.
• Assist with training new hires as needed.
