Job summary

BROADWAY REVENUE CONSULTANTS LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Payroll Assistant to manage financial records for multiple client entities in Toledo, Ohio. You will record and verify transactions, bring books to trial balance, prepare tax forms, and may establish new entities with tax authorities.

You will also assist with payroll transmission and maintain strong GAAP practices. The ideal candidate has solid Excel/QuickBooks proficiency, keen numerical skills, and excellent organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience as accountant, bookkeeper, or similar.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
• Strong math, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication.
• Spanish language skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare trial balance
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete required tax forms
• Process payroll as needed
• Set up tax accounts as needed
