The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience (degree preferred), proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, and a strong eye for accuracy and organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with day-to-day bookkeeping and client accounts.
• Accurate data entry and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and client management.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions to maintain accurate records.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and related entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash accounts.
• Assist with filing sales tax, 1099s, and regulatory reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
