Job summary

P3 Health Partners is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and monthly close activities. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, accurate reporting, and collaboration with auditors in a hybrid in-office setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and ideally a CPA certificate in good standing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or public/private experience acceptable).
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred, not required).
• Experience in a publicly traded corporate environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for monthly close activities.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation.
• Support GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Maintain documentation for accounting processes and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports, analyses, and ad hoc requests.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
