UFP Site Built is seeking a detail-driven Estimator to turn blueprints into precise material estimates for lumber, siding, trim and hardware. You will prepare competitive proposals and work closely with project managers and field teams to drive accurate delivery.

The role emphasizes strong math, reading drawings, and effective communication, with experience in construction estimating and familiarity with common estimating tools.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in single-family, multi-family or commercial construction estimating.
• Strong ability to perform manual material take-offs.
• Excellent math, analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilités

• Analyze architectural and engineered drawings to create precise material estimates (lumber, siding, trim, hardware).
• Prepare and submit competitive proposals that win projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth execution from estimate to delivery.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving using building codes and product specs.
• Assist fellow estimators and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly across departments and with clients to ensure alignment and success.
