Job summary

UFP Site Built is seeking a detail-driven estimator to turn blueprints into precise material estimates for lumber, siding, trim, and hardware.

You will prepare competitive proposals, collaborate with project managers and field teams, and provide technical support using building codes and product specs. Strong math and reading drawings skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in single-family, multi-family or commercial construction estimating.
• Strong ability to perform manual material take-offs.
• Familiarity with Planswift, Timberline, Bluebeam or Excel for estimating.
• Hands-on framing or construction experience is a big plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and building codes.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $25-35/hr *dependent on experience*

Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
