Job summary

Steven Label is seeking a Rewinder/Inspector for the 2nd shift in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This full-time role involves rewinding, inspecting, and finishing printed labels according to work instructions, ensuring every product meets strict quality standards and customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 1–3 years in manufacturing or inspection, and comfort reading English work instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or inspection role preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, rulers).
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work around flashing lights or imagery; photosensitive individuals should use caution.

Responsibilities

• Rewind, inspect, and finish labels per work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Perform visual inspections of printed labels to identify defects.
• Measure product dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and rulers.
• Bag and label finished products.
• Log product movement and inspection results in the system.
• Ensure product quality throughout all stages of production.
• Experience with detail part inspection is helpful.
• Knowledge of Rotoflex rewinders or other similar rewind equipment is a plus.
• Perform additional duties as required.
