Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Detail Assistant to support the Category Management team in developing and maintaining product assortments. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure accuracy of SKU attributes and descriptions.

Responsibilities include coordinating SKU setup, handling vendor samples, updating category reporting, and assisting in preparing executive presentations. Proficiency with Excel and internal software is required.

The Detail Assistant supports the Category Management team to maximize the development and maintenance of product assortments by coordinating with cross functional teams. Responsible for accuracy of all sku attributes and descriptions. The responsibility of the Detail Assistant is to assist the Category Managers and Brand teams in daily category management office functions. Responsible for samples, SKU processing and reporting support. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, Business Objects and internal computer software.

Category Coordination

• Assists in the facilitation of the SKU set-up process
• Vendor Communications
• Responsible for vendor samples and vault integrity including live merchandise from DC
• Works on special projects as assigned
• Update category reporting

Assortment / Inventory Management

• Manages and facilitates sample process
• Partners with cross functional teams to prepare product for executive level presentations and meetings
• Key purchase orders for samples

Collaboration

• Consistent communication and follow-through with internal and external business partners (vendors, sample room, DC, AP and QA)
• Supports brand team with omnichannel operations by collaborating with the Ecommerce team to ensure all product is added to the website
