Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Destin, FL location. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and collect specimens for various tests.

You will also handle data entry, billing support, and maintain logs with a focus on accurate, timely service. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience; certification or formal training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Willingness to travel to additional sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
