Job summary

Mass General Brigham at North Shore Medical Center is seeking a hands-on technical support specialist to keep essential systems, equipment, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll coordinate the transport, setup, and inventory of technical equipment while supporting the secure and efficient operation of key systems.

You’ll serve as a go-to resource for troubleshooting and technical support, resolving issues quickly to minimize disruptions and keep teams productive.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of Customer Service Experience required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Knowledge of Mac OS and Office 365.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• General knowledge of desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other computing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport, set up, install, and decommission systems.
• Run diagnostic tests on systems; troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
• Assist customers as needed with technical issues related to computers, Applications, or telecom.
• Document issues and resolutions effectively and efficiently.

Job Summary

You’ll also share your technical expertise with colleagues, providing guidance and practical solutions that help ensure reliable, seamless operations.

Essential Functions

• Transport, set up, install, and decommission systems.
• Perform tasks in accordance with layout diagrams and project schedules.
• Run diagnostic tests on systems; troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
• Assist customers as needed with technical issues related to computers, Applications, or telecom.
• Document issues and resolutions effectively and efficiently.
• Provide professional, efficient, and effective customer service to the end-user community, focused on routine matters.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for equipment and accessories.

• Onsite at North Shore Medical Center // Could provide backup support at any of our other 26 North Shore Clinics when needed
• Daily Schedule: M-F 6:30am - 3pm EST
• On Call once every 8 weeks to respond to urgent tickets and outreach to On Call Pager.
