CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., is seeking a Desktop Technician to join the team onsite in Charlotte, NC, providing end-user support and break/fix for hardware and software.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Windows desktop support experience, knowledge of Active Directory, MS Office 365, and effective communication skills. Local candidates welcome for day-to-day support and ticketing responsibilities.
Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Charlotte, NC and provide end-user support. This tech will provide day to day localemote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. They will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center. Desktop Support provides Break Fix, fault diagnosis and resolution. Providing fault analysis to various core operating systems and platforms, as well be able to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite. Ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience in Windows Desktop support.
The rate for this position is between $26.25- $35.00per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
