Job description

Overview

Procopio is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for our downtown San Diego office who will work directly with our firm’s Information Services (IS) team to provide excellent technical assistance and support to our team. In this role, you will act as the primary interface with end users when investigating and resolving problems and will provide first-line technical support for hardware and software applications (deskside and virtual for desktops, laptops, printers, software applications, and conference rooms). This position will be hybrid remote (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after an initial 90 day training period.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software applications for desktops, laptops, printers, and conference rooms (deskside and virtual).
Act as the primary interface with end users when investigating and resolving problems.
Assist with setup, maintenance, and support of conference room audio/visual equipment and meeting software (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Webex).
Collaborate with the Information Services team to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience and an Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with Windows and Mac OS; proficiency with Android and iOS (iPhones).
Familiarity with conference room audio visual equipment and meeting software (Zoom, Teams, Webex).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) are a plus.

Base pay and benefits

Base pay range: $67,000.00/yr - $73,000.00/yr. The firm notes that pay will be based on skills and experience. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. Full-time employees can participate in a comprehensive benefits program including medical (HMO/PPO), dental (HMO/PPO), vision, flexible spending accounts/health savings accounts, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) profit-sharing program after 12 months of employment. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days are also offered.
