Job summary

Options Residential, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide IT support for site and community staff. The role involves hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting, M365 tasks, and collaboration with the IT team to maintain operations across our locations.

The position is in-office based in Eagan, MN, with local travel to community sites. A minimum of 2 years in IT support is preferred, and A+/Network+ certifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in IT support/help desk preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors in IT/CS/Engineering preferred but not required.
• A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for site and community-based staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network issues and document tickets.
• Support M365 admin tasks including provisioning, licenses, and MFA resets.
• Travel locally within Twin Cities to support community sites as needed.

Come join the Options Family as a Desktop Support Technician! You'll be a member of a team with the purpose to provide clinical and administrative leadership and support to our family of companies. Our goal is to create and maintain a common vision for rehabilitation and to support the people that are served at our various locations.

This position provides IT support for all site and community-based staff for Options Residential Inc., Stepping Out, Connections Services, and any other acquired entities including hardware support, software support, and additional tech support duties as assigned.

It is an in-office role based in Eagan, MN. The Desktop Support Technician will work closely with other members of the IT department and will be required to travel locally within the Twin Cities to our community-based sites to provide technical support as needed.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required depending on the needs of the organization.

Starting Salary Range:

$24-$26 hourly, DOQ

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

This position requires the following knowledge and skills:

Working knowledge of IT and hands-on experience with networking, desktop technologies, and troubleshooting

• Demonstrated ability to work in a modern M365 environment, including user provisioning, license management, group and team management, Multifactor Authentication registration/resets, Intune, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a ticketing system for managing, prioritizing, and record keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team, work with management, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to respectfully explain and troubleshoot computer related technologies to coworkers.
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

Desire and ability to learn on the job for skills related to systems administration, HIPAA compliance, and security.

Education And Work Experience

• 2 years experience in an IT Support/Help Desk role preferred.
• An Associates or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering is preferred, but not required.
• A+ and Network+ certifications is also preferred.

A Valid Driver's license and auto insurance are also required.
