Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an on-site role in Pataskala, Ohio. The candidate will install, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops/notebooks, respond to incidents, and provide VIP support to customers at the client site.

Strong Windows OS knowledge and a proven customer service background are required. A+ certification and familiarity with ServiceNow are preferred. This position may offer benefits including healthcare, 401(k), PTO and more.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops/notebooks and peripherals on-site or remotely.
• Handle Windows imaging, deployment, and software installation tasks.
• Act as liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
• Provide incident management and service desk support (ServiceNow).
• Review and optimize desktop configurations and maintain hardware at client sites.
• Diagnose product performance issues and perform basic break/fix repairs.
• Instruct customers on basic Windows usage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality support.

We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Pataskala, Ohio (US-OH), United States (US).

This is an on-site role at our client office. Only local candidates will be considered.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, and associated peripherals
• Windows, troubleshooting, diagnosing, imaging/deployment and software installation
• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters
• Provide technical support and incident management service desk functions (Service Now)
• Reviews, troubleshoots, and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals
• Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
• Performs maintenance and repair services (basic break fix for desktops, laptops.)
• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of basic Windows

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this hourly role is $30 – $38/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
