Job summary

RightClick is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large Windows 11 migration and deploy hardware across a hospital campus. This onsite position is based in Bergen County, NJ, and will require consistent staff support.

The role involves following scripted imaging processes, performing Windows and Office upgrades, and documenting work in the ticketing system while maintaining patient privacy and security protocols. Healthcare/large enterprise experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large-scale Windows 11 migration, deploying and configuring hardware across a hospital campus. This is an onsite position based in Bergen County, NJ.
Starting at $20/hour.

Desktop Support Technician's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support a hospital-wide Windows 11 migration, deploying and configuring new desktop and laptop hardware for staff
• Follow established, fully scripted deployment and imaging processes with careful documentation
• Perform Windows and Microsoft Office upgrades using documented procedures
• Provide desk-side and walk-up support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Log and track all work in the ticketing system and expand complex issues per established workflows
• Maintain accurate records of deployed and decommissioned equipment while following healthcare security and patient-privacy protocols

Desktop Support Technician's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least one year of professional desktop support or IT experience
• Comfortable following detailed, scripted procedures with precision and consistency
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office upgrades is a strong plus
• Strong customer service instincts; friendly, patient, and clear when helping end users
• Reliable and punctual, able to work onsite 5 days a week
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent, and prior healthcare/large enterprise support experience, a plus
