Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support / Field Services Technician for a long-term contract based out of Jacksonville, NC. The role supports assessment, deployment, migration, and go-live activities, with on-site work across hospital and clinic locations.

The position requires 1+ year of desktop support and hands-on experience with imaging, hardware deployment, and AD users. You will use ticketing systems and provide customer-focused service in a MS environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of desktop support, field services, or technical support experience.
• Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting.
• Hardware deployment and workstation setup experience.
• Experience with imaging and device configuration.
• Active Directory experience (user setup, permissions, password resets).
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zoho Desk, Remedy, or similar.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently throughout hospital and clinic locations.
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment as part of deployment activities.

Our client is looking for a Desktop Support / Field Services Technician to assist with assessment, deployment, migration, and go-live support activities throughout the duration of the project. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential to extend beyond the October 2027 go-live date to support post-implementation activities.

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
