CompucomStaffing in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client's team onsite. You will provide IMAC support, end-user assistance, image work, and device provisioning to keep end users productive.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years desk-side experience, working knowledge of Windows and Office, basic networking, plus strong communication and troubleshooting skills. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide install, move, add, change (IMAC), break-fix and end user support activities as required
• Stage, build, and image systems with standard client image
• Complete assigned projects
• Follow asset management policy and procedures

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of desk side support service experience
• Working knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic business applications
• Excellent analytic / troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer support skills

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $28.20 - $37.60 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
