Compucom Staffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team onsite in Allentown, PA and provide end-user support. Our employee relationship managers offer guidance and reemployment assistance throughout your engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of PC hardware and software support experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Deskside support experience.
• Customer facing experience.
• Experience supporting mobile data plans, networks, and devices is a plus.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong personalities, detail oriented.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required.

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Allentown, PA and provide end-user support.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
• Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
• Resolves network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches
• Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve
• Represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates
• Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 6+ years of experience supporting PC Hardware and software
• Comfortability providing hands and feet support for network connection issues
• Hardware and software support experience
• Knowledge and experience utilizing ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
• Deskside support experience
• Customer facing experience
• Experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus
• Able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment with strong personalities, and detail oriented
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $18.75 - $25.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
