Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a fast-paced university IT team in Saint Louis, MO.

The role provides Tier 1 incident handling, workstation maintenance, and service desk support for faculty, staff and students. You will work in a normal office environment, may be on call, and participate in projects like system upgrades and integrations while documenting solutions for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of enterprise desktop support experience.
• Experience with operating systems, software installation, hardware, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily desktop support including OS, software, hardware.
• Respond to tickets and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with higher-level teams on issue resolution.
• Assist with system upgrades and project tasks in the desktop environment.
