Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking an on-site Desktop Support Engineer to provide immediate, hands-on IT support for enterprise clients in Metropolis, Illinois. You will handle desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, perform hardware installations, and ensure secure operation at the client site.

The role is contract-based and on-demand, with no guaranteed hours. You will receive assignments from the Service Delivery Team and must be able to respond quickly to requests.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic understanding of LAN networking (switches/routers).

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location.

This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Work Model
