Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Chanute, Kansas. This contract-based, on-demand role covers desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at client locations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, hardware installation, and adherence to security policies with reporting to the service delivery team. Immediate start; part-time contractor role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows OS and desktop environments.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose desktop, printer and peripheral issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.

• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location. This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Work Model
