TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a 100% onsite contract in Columbus, OH. You will provide hands-on support for Windows and Mac, troubleshoot a range of issues, and deliver strong customer service to faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities include workstation deployment, inventory management, break/fix work, ServiceNow ticket handling, and maintenance of classroom technology and A/V equipment. The role requires independent work and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a 100% onsite contract opportunity supporting a diverse end-user environment. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for Windows and Mac systems, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and Microsoft Office issues, and deliver exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include workstation deployment and setup, inventory management, break/fix support, ServiceNow ticket management, classroom technology maintenance, and support of audio-visual and instructional equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong desktop and help desk experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a customer-facing technical support role and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
