Job summary

IPolarity in Phoenix is seeking a Desktop Packaging Engineer to design, test, and deploy Windows and macOS application packages to support enterprise software delivery and rapid vulnerability remediation. You will collaborate with application owners, security, deployment, and support teams to ensure secure and reliable packaging aligned with SLAs.

The role emphasizes rapid conversion of vendor patches into production packages to enable timely remediation of High and Critical vulnerabilities

Qualifications

2 years of desktop engineering or application packaging experience.
Experience with SCCM/MECM, Workspace ONE or Microsoft Intune.
Application packaging using MSI, MSIX, or App-V.
PowerShell scripting proficiency.
Solid understanding of Windows 10/11.
Familiarity with SDLC and change management processes.
Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies, including AI.

Responsibilities

Design and develop moderately complex application packaging solutions and supporting infrastructure components.
Ensure packaging solutions align with end-to-end platform performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Author and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and SOPs to support packaging and deployment processes.
Independently monitor and analyze advanced performance and capacity metrics to optimize technology solutions and ensure SLA adherence.
