Job summary

Hybrid Promotions LLC in Cypress, CA is seeking a Designer to support the Design Director in creating and executing monthly retailer presentations and special projects from concept to final proto samples.

You will drive creative from concept to completion, lead Associate and Assistant Designers through line development, monitor preproduction, and collaborate with Sales to shape direction for retailers. A strong portfolio and 5–7 years of womens/missy design are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of proven experience designing womens/missy apparel
• Portfolio required
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, Fine Art or related field
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong graphics knowledge for CAD, tech packs, and digital illustrations
• Strong understanding of screen-printing process, textile finishing techniques, and basic garment construction
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in accordance with the calendar
• Demonstrate strong verbal, organization and written communication skills
• Strong Team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

What is my role?

As a Designer, you are responsible for supporting the Design Director in all aspects of creating and executing monthly retailer presentations and special projects (from concept to final proto samples).

What You'll Do

• Drive creative along with the Design Director in creating styles from concept to completion; direct Associate, Assistant Designers through line development
• Monitor development of preproduction samples in partnership with the Product Developer
• Work with Sales and Director to create direction in silhouette, fabric, and concept for specific retailers/market
• Ensure presentations are executed at the highest creative level
• Attend and lead in fit sessions
• Review product at preproduction stage to ensure all components are correct prior to production

What You’ll Need
