You will create electrical documentation, design specifications and collaborate with our engineering, project management, and production teams across international locations, supporting sales proposals and product launches. Some travel may be required.
For more than 155 years, PROBAT has stood for pioneering spirit and innovation in the coffee industry. Through targeted acquisitions in the food processing sector, intensive technology transfer within the corporate group, and the expansion of a global service network, PROBAT has developed into a leading full-service provider for the food industry. The company plans, develops, and manufactures machines, turnkey production facilities, environmental technologies, and intelligent control systems with integrated smart data management. You will be responsible for the electrical engineering design, development, and implementation of control systems for the coffee and food industries—from the initial concept through to market launch. In this role, you will create electrical documentation, design and size control systems, and work closely with our engineering, project management, and production teams, as well as with our international subsidiaries. You will also ensure compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations, support our service teams during commissioning, and contribute your technical expertise to the preparation of sales proposals.
This position is part of the Engineering department and reports directly to the Group Manager/Department Manager. You will join a team of 15 EPLAN Engineers at our Emmerich site, collaborating on the electrical design and implementation of our projects. In addition, you will work closely with our five-member team in Koog across locations. For the Koog team, we provide complete electrical engineering services as well as control panel manufacturing. We are also increasingly taking on additional engineering responsibilities for other international locations. Close collaboration across sites is an integral part of our daily work and a key element of our project execution, alongside regular coordination with our global locations to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with our worldwide standards.
