Job Type: 3-6-month W2 hourly contract

Compensation Range: $35-40/hr

As a Designer III with our financial services consulting client, you are a talented and motivated creative professional with design strategy and innovative solutions at your core. You'll consult with internal clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships. You'll collaborate with art directors, cross-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients to develop and execute compelling design solutions and engaging ideas rooted in strategy that move business forward.

This role will support a team that designs deliverables for: Business Marketing Campaigns, Events (Live and Virtual), Visual Communication, and Business Development (presentations and graphics for proposals) related to the financial services sector. Experience in these areas would be a plus.

Ideal candidates present a polished, sophisticated portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and includes client-facing experience. Experiential design experience is required. Financial services experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, and cross-disciplinary teams to develop and execute strategic, visually compelling design solutions that support business goals.
• Lead and participate in ideation sessions, design sprints, and consultations to generate innovative, inclusive concepts and translate business needs into effective visual communication.
• Design and deliver a variety of materials-including presentations, campaigns, storyboards, proposals, and event graphics-across digital and print media, ensuring consistency and impact.
• Develop creative briefs, mood boards, and layouts to guide and inform the design process in alignment with business objectives.
• Act as project manager for assigned workstreams, creating timelines, estimating resources, and coordinating execution to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to design team members, fostering conceptual growth and ensuring alignment with project vision.
• Maintain a high level of business acumen and technical understanding to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, especially within the financial services sector.
• Support administrative aspects of creative projects, including internal client communications, project tracking, and quality assurance.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the team's creative output.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related experience as a graphic designer.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives.
• Ability to understand the internal client's vision through active listening, advanced communication, and diplomacy with business partners, project owners, managers, and internal team members.
• Excel at managing multiple projects, prioritizing milestones, and influencing clients and design colleagues to deliver desirable solutions within time frame and budget.
• Ability to initiate and successfully engage in creative ideation sessions and design sprints.
• Advanced technical understanding of digital media and print design in-house and with vendors.
