$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Position: Brand Designer

Location: Remote (United States only)

Job Type: Independent Contractor (No insurance, PTO, & benefits; candidate will be responsible for any tax and insurance, business trips will be reimbursed)

Level: Mid-Senior

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

TRON is searching for a skilled Brand Designer to craft its current brand identity while working collaboratively with the design team in concepting TRON’s next brand evolution. The Brand Designer will work closely with Design, Marketing, and Content teams to shape TRON’s brand across various platforms, including social media, websites, launch campaigns, events, and emerging channels.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in branding and graphic/visual design. Additionally, they should be proficient in using both traditional and generative AI tools to produce visually compelling and high-impact communications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate extensively with a diverse team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, videographers, and animators, to enhance and refine TRON’s brand identity across a wide range of channels. This includes digital platforms (websites, social media, email marketing), print materials (brochures, advertisements, swag), illustrations, photography, video content, and animation.
• Work closely with teams throughout the organization, including Marketing, Content, and Events, to ensure consistent and effective implementation of on-brand marketing materials that align with TRON’s overall brand strategy and messaging.
• Design and maintain a comprehensive, scalable, and distinctive design system that encompasses typography, color palettes, imagery, iconography, and other visual elements, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand experience across all touchpoints.
• Clearly articulate the rationale behind design decisions and foster a collaborative environment where feedback is actively sought and incorporated from partners across the organization, ensuring alignment and a shared understanding of design goals.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in-house or at a startup, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand expertise across mediums (Experience in crypto/web3 is a plus).
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects), Google Slides, and other relevant design tools. Experience using generative AI tools for image and video generation is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and processes.
• Independence & Efficiency: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and iterate rapidly while taking creative direction.
• Core Skills: Proficiency in conceptual thinking, graphic design, visual design, typography, identity design, and branding.
• Craftsmanship: A dedication to high-quality work, prioritizing quality over quantity, and a keen eye for detail.
