Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Designer II for an onsite, full-time role in Minneapolis, MN.

The position focuses on creating architectural design and construction documents using Revit and BIM, while coordinating with clients and project teams throughout all phases from programming to construction administration. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of architecture experience, a degree in Architecture, and strong knowledge of codes and constructability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 4+ years of architectural experience.
• Proficient in Revit and BIM.
• Strong knowledge of architectural documentation and building codes.
• Experience with project coordination and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design and construction documents in Revit.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, development, and construction teams.
• Support projects from programming through construction administration.
• Apply building codes, design principles, detailing, and constructability requirements.
• Lead/participate in design, consultant, and project team meetings.
• Resolve technical, coordination, and scope-related issues.
• Support QA/QC, code reviews, specifications, and material/finish selections.
• Mentor and guide junior staff.

Pay Range: $75000 - $80000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural design and construction documents in Revit.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, development, and construction teams.
• Support projects from programming through construction administration.
• Apply building codes, design principles, detailing, and constructability requirements.
• Lead/participate in design, consultant, and project team meetings.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - Revit, BIM, Architectural Construction Documentation, Building Codes & Code Compliance, Constructability & Project Coordination.
• 4+ years of relevant architectural experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related technical degree.
• Strong Revit and BIM experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural documentation, building codes, and constructability.
• Experience with project coordination and construction documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Adobe Suite, Enscape, SketchUp, Bluebeam, LEED AP/WELL AP.
