Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Designer to focus on Tops for the Global Levi's Men's brand. You will design creative and commercially-viable products that strengthen the brand's value and guide development from concept to production.

The role is hybrid, based in SF HQ, with in-office Tuesdays–Thursdays. Bachelor’s in Fashion Design and 4+ years design experience in apparel required; strong knowledge of Creative Suite and PLM is essential.

• Analyze selling and translate into future product directions.
• Manage PLM BOM data integrity for prototypes, samples and production.

• Develop strategy to meet seasonal assortment and COGS targets.
• Work with GTM timelines and deliverables.

You'll design creative, commercially-viable products that support and deepen the value of the brand. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ and you will report to the Senior Designer.

Responsibilities

• Guide innovation of the category through best-in-class fit, fabric, finish, style and sundries development
• Research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition
• Analyze current selling and consider when developing into future trends
• Manage execution of PLM BOM data integrity: protos, commercial samples and production
• Develop relationships with internal partners, leading collaboration within Design and across Merchandising and Product Development
• Develop the strategy to meet seasonal product assortment needs and COGS targets
• Work with GTM timelines, processes and deliverables
• Develop product with a sustainable mindset and +Net Positive without compromising aesthetics

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 4+ years of Design experience in the apparel category.
• Creative Suite knowledge, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Reader, PowerPoint, and PLM
• Experience with design process
• Solid flat sketching skills, good design and color sense
• Experience with product construction (e.g., finishes, fabrics, hardware, stitches, safety requirements)
• Knowledge of fit model and standard measurements

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on our needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $93,000 - $130,000 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
