Meow Wolf Santa Fe seeks a Designer Fabricator to join the Artistic Development & Production team. This hands-on role designs and builds artistic/structural components for exhibitions and experiences, translating concepts into fabrication and on-site installations.
The position emphasizes collaboration, craftsmanship, and safety, with opportunities to mentor junior fabricators and contribute to diverse projects in a creative studio environment.

As a member of the Artistic Development & Production (AD&P) team, the Designer Fabricator is a hands‑on creative contributor who designs and builds artistic and structural components for exhibitions, installations, and experiences. Working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, this role translates concepts and shop drawings into high‑quality, durable, and safe fabricated elements and supports on‑site installation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
Professional studio and office environment with routine use of standard office equipment, powered and non‑powered tools, and various art‑making materials. Respirators may be used in the presence of dusts, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors.
Occasionally sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs. Medium‑work demands; specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
