ITW in the United States is seeking a Designer Drafter in our Materials Test division to create clear design documentation that supports sale, manufacture, and service of components and systems. You’ll work from notes and specifications to produce plans, layouts, drawings, BOMs, and models using CAD and our standard practices, then verify accuracy and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

The role requires an Associate degree or technical certificate with CAD experience;

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED plus an Associate’s degree or vo-tech certificate in drafting or related field.
• Ability to perform detail and layout work on CAD and learn other documentation tools.
• Experience with SolidWorks, SAP, SolidWorks PDM, and MS Office preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare working plans, layouts, and detailed drawings from notes, sketches, or specifications.
• Review designs and resolve unclear details; contribute data for final design.
• Develop drawings and bills of materials using CAD, following company practices.
• Verify drawings and BOMs for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide status updates to project teams and vendors.
• Support budgets and deadlines with timely decisions.
