Job summary

Eleven Peppers Studios LLC is seeking a designer with strong typography and Adobe Creative Cloud mastery to turn complex topics into clear visuals. This on-site role in Washington, DC requires collaboration with teammates and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

You’ll create artwork for print and web across reports, studies, and executive briefings, delivering polished graphics and compelling narratives.

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design or similar field (4+ years experience may substitute).
• Minimum 3 years relevant design experience.
• Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator.
• Strong typography, layout, and color sense with a drive to innovate.
• Able to adapt style to diverse design challenges and platforms.

Clearance Required (TS minimum) | Future Funded | Full-Time | Junior-Mid Levels

As a designer, you ask yourself “How can I make this better?” You have a masterful knowledge of typography for web and print platforms. Adobe Creative Cloud is your BFF and memories of making the logo bigger give you migraines. You are a fantastic teammate and an even better employee. Composition is second nature. Your Instagram photos are probably frame worthy. You see impossible design requests as a challenge, not as a wall. You’re bright, passionate, and driven. You can work well with others and work efficiently when accomplishing independent tasks.

The Fun Stuff

Bring complex topics to life! You’ll make even the most intricate issues clear and engaging through beautiful graphics and charts that synthesize information from multiple sources.

Collaborate with teammates to create powerful, polished products that tell compelling stories through timely reports, insightful assessments, and sleek visuals.

Create artwork in multiple formats, including print and digital, from deep-dive studies to executive briefings.

Employ critical thinking and visual problem solving to illustrate complex data relationships.

Gain a deeper understanding of how raw information becomes actionable insights.

The Necessities

You have a degree in graphic design or similar field. (4 more years of experience may be substituted for a degree).

You have a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

You are fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite tools, primarily InDesign and Illustrator.

You have a keen sense of typography, layout, and color with a hunger for innovation.

Your design eye is so refined that you can adapt your style to any challenge that is thrown at you.

Your ability to design for multiple platforms, including print and web, is second nature.

You are a strong communicator with the ability to provide and receive constructive criticism, as well as the ability to articulate design concepts directly to clients.

You can communicate complex issues clearly both verbally and non-verbally.

You know how to hit deadlines and get the job done.

Salary Details

Salary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non-billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
