National Grid in Worcester, MA is seeking a Distribution Design professional to design and support electric distribution projects, applying company standards to overhead and underground facilities, and coordinating with public infrastructure and stakeholders.
You will read diagrams, evaluate distribution facilities, and use Work Management Systems to develop and progress work packages, while guiding customers on service requirements.
Design and support electric distribution projects and related activities in response to customer requests, service inquiries, escalations, and system requirements. Apply company standards and technical principles to the development, modification, and support of overhead and underground facilities, distribution system maintenance and improvement initiatives, public infrastructure coordination, programmatic work, and other related Distribution Design activities.
Hourly Pay Rate - $47.01
Location - Worcester
Working knowledge of customer service techniques and approaches, along with knowledge of electric distribution theory and utility construction practices. Demonstrated oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships and respond appropriately to customer concerns. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team environment. Understanding of municipal regulations and permitting requirements. Proficiency in current Work Management Systems.
