Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in West Covina, CA, is seeking a Design Consultant to provide start-to-finish consultative design services, meeting with customers, listening to project needs, and building concepts that reflect personal style and budget.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and offer tile, wood, stone, and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects. You’ll manage multiple projects with clear, timely communication and collaborate with store leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic math and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support store design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accurate, timely communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
