Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a design consultant to greet customers, understand project needs, and develop creative design concepts that reflect clients’ style, lifestyle, and budget.

You will guide product selection for tile, wood, stone, and accessories for both residential and commercial projects. You will manage multiple projects from inquiry to installation, collaborate with store leadership, and stay current with design trends while utilizing Salesforce and the Online Design

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives and stay current with design trends.
• Use design applications such as Salesforce and MyProject.

Pay Range$16.02 - $24.05Purpose:Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start to finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with the customers we serve.
