Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a structural CAD drafter to assist Sales Representatives by creating samples and drawing designs for promotions. You will prepare samples on the CAD table or by hand, maintain specifications, and ensure projects meet schedules, with possible overtime.

Experience in corrugated packaging and proficiency in Artios CAD are preferred. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in CAD/drafting or related field, with 3-5 years in corrugated and strong skills in Windows and MS

• Associates degree or higher in the field of computers, CAD, or drafting. Will consider years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3-5-years' experience in corrugated preferred
• Knowledge of Artios CAD, Kongsberg table, or similar tools.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office programs.

SUMMARY

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Work Environment:

• Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
• May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection.
• Work in office located in Bridgeview, Illinois.
