As a Digital Design Verification Engineer at NVIDIA, you'll verify the design and implementation of our groundbreaking SerDes IPs. This technology will enable and accelerate gaming, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and autonomous driving. We have assembled a top-tier team that delivers IPs used in industry-standard and proprietary high-speed protocols.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Verification of the digital design, golden models, and micro-architecture of the SerDes IPs using advanced verification methodologies such as UVM.
2. Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards following coverage-driven verification methodology.
3. Understand the design and implementation, define verification scope, develop verification infrastructure, and verify the correctness of the design.
4. Write and implement test plans to thoroughly verify designs within product shipment schedules.
5. Collaborate with architects, designers, and verification teams pre- and post-silicon to accomplish tasks.

What we need to see:

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
2. At least 2+ years of validated experience.
3. Background in verification at Unit/Sub-system/SOC level and expertise in SystemVerilog.
4. Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
5. Familiarity with verification methodologies like UVM/VMM and industry-standard simulation and debug tools.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

1. Expertise in bus or interconnect protocols (e.g., PCI Express, USB, SATA).
2. Experience verifying complex SerDes systems, understanding mixed-signal designs, and analog circuit modeling.
3. Programming experience in Perl, Python, C/C++.
4. Strong debugging and analytical skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.

The base salary range is $108,000 - $184,000 USD, determined by location, experience, and internal pay scales. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
