Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) offers a Design Undergraduate Intern position within the Defense Technologies Engineering Division (DTED) for Summer 2027. Qualifications

• Eligible to access LLNL per NDAA requirements.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or associate degree or recent grad in mechanical/electrical engineering technology, design/drafting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and perform technical assignments with basic complexity.
• Provide technical support to engineers on R&D projects.
• Participate in research in assigned area under supervision.
• Utilize standard software packages common to the discipline.
• Gather and analyze data; document and communicate results.
